Masters Swim Manitoba

Thank-you to the those who helped with the Pentathlon meet in February.  We appreciate your time.  We had some new masters swimmers entered in the meet.  Not only was it their first year swimming with a team, it was the first time they had competed in a swim meet! 

Some Masters swimmers competed in the Saskatchewan Masters Provincials last weekend, and had a good weekend of swimming.

We have 2 more meets this year- the  Provincials on Saturday April 17th and Sunday the 18th and the Nationals in Edmonton on the May long weekend.  We are hosting the Manitoba Provincials this event in the main tank and hope to attract over 100 swimmers from Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan and North Dakota.  After Saturday's events, there will be a dinner served in the Aquatic Hall of Fame.  This will be a great opportunity for swimmers and volunteers to mingle and discuss the day's
events!  We took the meet package to Saskatchewan, and we had alot of interest in attending - based on the pool and the effort that was put into the organization so far. 

I know we have support from Swim Manitoba for this event, and we welcome your expertise and volunteer efforts!  You are also welcome to stay for the reception and/or dinner as well.  There will be a fun wine tasting with cheese reception, great food for dinner and a fun raffle for some great prizes.
